These terms govern your use of BirdToyOutlet at www.birdtoyoutlet.com, including its pet-bird care calculators, guides, and museum (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. We may update these terms as the site changes; continuing to use it means you accept the current version.

Estimates for planning, not veterinary advice

BirdToyOutlet is an independent resource, not a retailer, a breeder, or a veterinary practice. The calculators produce general estimates from the species you select and the figures you enter, based on common, widely cited care conventions. They are planning aids, not veterinary advice, and not a diagnosis or a guarantee about any bird’s health, safety, or wellbeing. A recommended cage size, bar-spacing range, food portion, out-of-cage minimum, life stage, or toy schedule should be treated as a starting point. Species and individual birds vary widely; for anything to do with your bird’s health, diet, or behaviour, consult a qualified avian veterinarian who can examine it.

Using the Service responsibly

You agree to:

• Use the tools in good faith for your own pet-bird care planning
• Enter accurate details — the output is only as good as the input
• Not disrupt, overload, or attempt to break the site or its security
• Not scrape or use automated systems to hammer the tools
• Respect the intellectual-property rights covered below
• Consult an avian vet for anything affecting your bird’s health or safety

Accuracy and no warranty

We build the calculators carefully and describe the assumptions on each tool’s page, but we can’t guarantee every result is error-free or right for your particular bird. Real needs vary with species, sub-species, age, activity, and individual temperament. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the site will always be available or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

The text, calculators, and design of BirdToyOutlet are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by copyright. You may use the tools and read the content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Museum entries, images, and facts are drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons under public-domain and Creative Commons licenses and remain subject to those licenses.

The site links to third-party pages and shows third-party advertising (including Google AdSense) and may include affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party sites, products, or offers; a link or ad is not an endorsement.
